The Sound Engineer will have a love of music, ability to work in a fast moving environment and schooling or
previous experience in sound engineering. This requires understanding the basics of a live performance and the
importance of sound quality and control.

Job Summary:
● Sound Engineer position is based in Perdido Key, Florida, and reports directly to the
Production Director for weekly assignments
● Must have knowledge of analog and digital audio equipment
● Set-up and break down live performances in a fast-paced environment
● Perform sound checks and mix live audio
● Operate lighting and be attentive to each performance
● Resolve technical issues when they arise
● Maintain daily equipment checks
● Meet with performers prior to the show to determine sound needs
● Work with Production Director and Manager(s) to maintain quality control
● Show up to work on-time and in a clean, presentable fashion

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
● Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
● Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn
● The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is
necessary
● Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs
and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
● Must be available to work weekends, holidays and black-out event dates
● Be receptive to exposure to outside elements including heat and/or humidity, cold temperatures, wet
conditions, and prolonged standing/walking
